The ayo-aidari trust has taken initiatives to achieve significant milestones in promoting sustainable agriculture and empowering rural communities.

Key Accomplishments Inciling:

Kitchen Garden Promotion In 30 Villages

750 farmers received seeds to establish kitchen gardens. They have successfully cultivated vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, green chili, tomato, spinach, and other leafy greens. In total, 30 farmers' clubs have been established across these villages.

Farmer Demonstration Units

Two agricultural demonstration units have been set up in different locations, providing 500 farmers with exposure to organic farming using traditional seeds like flaxseed, horse gram, and ragi. Farmers produced 3 quintals of vermicompost, which was used on 1. 15 acres of land, and 30 kg of organic tonic was applied to the demonstration fields.

Distribution Of Indigenous Seeds

217 farmers (158 female and 59 male) received 500 kg of millet seed, resulting in the production of 40 quintals of millet.

63 farmers were supported with horse gram seed, producing 19. 6 quintals of horse gram.

35 farmers received flaxseed, producing 15 quintals of flaxseed.

150 farmers were supported with 300 kg of bajra seed.

Construction Of Rainwater Harvesting Structures

2,880 man-days of work were generated for 192 wage laborers under the mahatma gandhi national rural employment guarantee scheme (mgnregs). As a result, 15 irrigation wells and 10 small ponds were constructed for irrigation purposes. These structures will continue to irrigate 10 acres of land for decades, enabling the production of vegetables such as 406 kg of sweet gourd and 302 kg of cucumber on 9 acres of land.

Training On Agro-allied Activities

Women in 30 villages receivedtraining in agro-allied activities such as goat rearing and poultry farming. They are being connected to the jharkhand livelihood mission to receive direct financial assistance for purchasing goats and chickens.

Construction Of Vermi-compost Pits

One model vermi-compost pit was developed at a demonstration plot with project support. Additionally, 22 pits were constructed in 15 villages, leading to the production of 3 quintals of vermi- compost. 600 farmers have produced 497 kg of organic manure, which they are now using on their land.

Access To Social Security Programs Through Public Information Centers (pic)

Three public information centers(pic) are currently active, providing access to various social security programs. 1000 individual are benefited through the public information centers.
