15 new frcs have been formed and 15 frcs have been rejuvenated which were already formed to facilitate the land rights of tribals. Support is being provided to forest rights committees (frcs) to follow up on existing individual forest rights claims and to file new community forest pights ci aims.

40 frcs member are trained on filing application for individual forest right. Awareness programs on the forest rights act (fra): information, education, and communication (iec) materials are being developed to raise awareness about the fra.

Frcs are participating in exposure visits to other areas in jharkhand, orissa, and chhattisgarh to learn about fra-related processes in communities that have successfully claimed their cfr and ifr.
